tues. night my friend hoff prayed for us, our home, our neighbors, etc. since then i have felt the presence of Christ among us. Life is good right now. The kind of good where you're almost scared what might happen after this "calm before the storm." I pinch my arm and tell myself this is not the norm in the journey of discipleship. there will be trials and eventually the spiritual s@#@ WILL hit the fan... or at least i hope it will... or we aren't moving forward in discipleship. God didn't bring us to this point in our journey to settle into comfortable waters. what am i preping myself for... see what i'm talking about? anyway, i said a while back that the favor of God was waiting for us here... that prophesy has been fulfilled.

God has blessed you with a time of peace. Prepare as you must, but don't squander this occasion by waiting and wondering when the storm will hit. God will move you out of the calm when the time is right. Until then (and even after), enjoy the blessing.
