Why aren't conservatives conservationists? They may be coming around.
Early next year environmental scientists, who have been campaigning fruitlessly to persuade the administration of US President George W. Bush to take global warming more seriously, hope to gain a very influential source of support.
The National Association of Evangelicals, the largest organisation of "born-again" Christians in the US, is circulating among its leadership a draft policy statement that would demand strong action against the causes of climate change.

this is a real good post.
but off the subject entirely...
molly and i are trying to be real intentional in our diet, nutritionally as well as ethically and wholelistically. but it`s real hard not having any real recources to help us. we have talked often about your conviction and practices concerning not only the shared meal, but what the meal consists of.
anyway, whenever you and kerri have a few extra minutes, we would love some help and advice. simple meals. healthy meals. recipe`s. what to eat and what to not eat. and any other random information that would be of interest to us (that you and only a few other grungy hippie families would know).

What are some good resources for objective information on global warming? The rhetoric on both sides of the issue seems to be so contradictory (thus 2 sides, eh?) Recovering conservatives want to know.
