update

when kerri and i started following jesus again for the first time, we made two decisions that we believed were based in prayer

1. work with whomever God places in your path along the journey
2. never ask for money

as far as #1 goes, we have had quite a few folks meet us along the way. One of the most significant happened when my friend Greg asked me if I would like to meet Palmer and hang out with some crazies down in the short north. Sounded cool, so I said yes. A year later, palmer and i began to meet weekly. this was huge. I needed a mentor like palmer but didn't know at the time how much i needed a community like LP. Another year passed and we moved to Grandview... now we are very much part of a little community they call landing place.
the role these folks have played in our lives is instrumental... we have grown in our ideas of discipleship, hospitality, mission, peace/non-violence... all around wholistic kingdom living. we have also grown to love the people of lp as well. true kingdom partners... like minded followers of Jesus.

as far as # 2 goes, i'm not so sure about that one right now. more on money later
