Two examples:
ONU students showed their understanding of MLK Day by drinking themselves silly on a Sunday because there were no classes on Monday. One person even bought malt liquor and KFC to commemorate the day (not my joke, that person really thought it was funny).
One former student commented that her hero was MLK because he got students everywhere in America another day off school.
May we be forgiven.
